What could cause a melting spot in my backyard and is this common? - melting spot
I live in a new environment and are connected to sewers. In the courtyard there is a place where the snow is melting even after heavy snowfall. The town is located just 10 meters from the house. I lived in rural areas and have seen the same thing with a septic system. I have the impression that connect the drains at the front of the house.

It could be the site of an old septic tank
This could be an underground hot springs, or "old tanks" before connecting to the sewer system in the county.
